Tribute to our Patriach Mzee Joseph Irungu

As the father to our managing partner, Irungu Kang’ata, Mzee Joseph Irungu was like a dad to our firm. He always offered us support and understood our problems. He taught us by example, the value of hard work, good judgment, courage and integrity.

Father of James Irungu, the late Michael Kamau, the late Paul Mindo.Veronica Njeri, Hannah Wanjiru,Ayub Maina, Senator Irungu Kangata (Murang’a County) and Gregory Muhuni. Husband of the late MargretWangechi. Brother of Robinson Munyugi, the late Paul Mindo, the late Beatrice Wanja, Benson Njoroge, Lucy Njoki Njau, Bethwel Kimani, the late Stephen Kahura and the late Jecinta Wanjiku. Father-in-law of Winnie Wangeci, Mercy Maina and Mary Wambui.

Friends are meeting at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi from Wednesday, 19/2/2020 from 5pm to 8pm up to Friday 21/2/2020 and also at his home in Glogon Estate, Murang’a Town everyday.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday 23/02/2020 at their Glogon home Murang’a town 2pm.

The cortege leaves K.U. Funeral Home on Monday 24/2/2020 at 7:00am for a funeral service at Mumbi Catholic Church, Mumbi Estate, Murang’a Town at 10.00am thereafter final interment will follow at Gathinja Village.
