Joseph Karena M’ikunyua M’Muchena

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Joseph Karena M’ikunyua M’Muchena.

Son of the late M’Muchena M’Iburi and the late Sarah Gauku M’Muchena. Step son of the late Julia and the late Regeria. Loving husband of Eunice Kairu. Father of the late Peter Kirema, the late Benson Bunch, Samson Mwenda lkunyua-Telkom Nairobi, Susan Koech-(RVIST ), Florence Kinyua — Napastaa Kiambu, Harrison Thuranira, Dorcas Makena —(RVIST) and Joshua Mugambi. Father-in-law of the late Ferester Kanyua, Lucy Wanjiku, Mercy Kinya, James Kinyua, Susan Gacheri and Margaret Kinanu.

Brother of the late Salome Munyange, Late Janet Kambura, Elizabeth Kinaitore, the late Silas M’mbogori, Late Dr. Fredrick Muchena, the late Henry Murira, Festus Kimathi Muchena, the late Magrate Kathambi, Patrick Kibiti And Lucy Gacoga. Brother-in-law of the late M’Muguna, the late Charles Baithiri, the late M’Mwarania, Joyce M’mbogori, Gladys Muchena, Susan Murira,   Catherine Kimathi, Joseph and Pauline Kibiti.

He was the grandfather of Wycliffe, Victor, Kenneth, Caanan, Caroline, Joseph Karena Joseph, Joy, Prudence, Fedes, Prince, Ramah, Felicia, Lilian, Mwirigi, Leslie, Precious, Evans, Janice, Daisy and Fablicia. Great grandfather of Prudence Wanjiku.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Kinoru Village near Kinoru Methodist Church for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Level Five Hospital Mortuary on Friday 23rd February 2018 at 10.00am and thereafter funeral service at Kinoru methodist church at 11.00am and later proceed for burial at his home Kinoru Village in Meru County.
