It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joseph Kipkemoi Ngerechi Leitich of Wamkong village Olenguruone Division Kuresoi South Nakuru County after a long battle with cancer.

Husband to Lilian Ngerechi, father to Winnie C. Mutai (Bomet University), Hillary Cheruiyot (KenGen), Nelson Cheruiyot (TSC), Judy Rono, Amos Walei and Lucas Kipkirui Cheruiyot. Father-in law to David Mutai (Longisa County Referral Hospital), Gladys Cheruiyot, Nelly Cheruiyot and Arnold Rono (Moi University). He was a grandfather to Ryan, Ruby, Reina, Maryann, Ezra, Juliet, Abraham, Malia and Regan. Cousin, uncle and a dear friend to many.

He was the 2nd born child of the late Chebolet Mosonik and Alice Tabutany Mosonik and the late Taplangoi Mosonik. Brother to Nancy Mutai (Kagawet), Former Councilor Leitich (Nyambugo), Paul Leitich (KENHA), Sammy Leitich (Kenya Police), Lily Muriet (Boresha Academy), Sarah Chepkwony (Walter Reed) and Wesley Leitich(TSC).

He was a step brother to Palls Leitich (Mugango), The late Chepngoimet Ngerechi, Ruth Kering, the late Chemusar Ngerechi, Esther Chumo, the late Joseph Ngerechi Tuei, Raeli Ngerechi, Elizabeth Morusoi, David Ngerechi and the late John Ngerechi.

He was son in law to the late Smith Korgoren and Raeli Korgoren and brother in law to David Koech, Samwel Koech, Monica Soi, Beatrice Tonui, Leonard Koech, John Mutai, David Muriet and John Chepkwony.

The cortege will leave Tenwek Mission Hospital on Thursday 12th May 2022 for church service and burial on Friday 13th May 2022 at Wamkong village Olenguruone division Kuresoi South Nakuru County.
