It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Joseph Maina Gatuhi of Kaiyaba Village, Ngandu Location, Mathis West, Nyeri County, which occurred on 31st March, 2021.

Son of the late Gatuhi Migwi and the late Wangu Gatuhi. Son-in-law of the late Zachariah Kinya and the late Zipporah Wangui. Husband of the late Mary Gathoni Maina_ Father of Margaret, Gatuhi, Kinya, Migwi, Wangui, Machira, Muriuki and Kirigo. Father-in-law of the late Waigi, Margaret, Dr. Catherine, Gakenia, Kungu, Elizabeth, Waithera and Kahu.

Brother of the late Migwi, the late Muriuki, the late Rutunu, the late Kirigo and the late Wanja. Brother-in-law of the late Gladys, the late Teresia, Konyu, the late Kamanu, the late Mutura, Mugure, the late Kibanya, Wanjiru, Muchikuri, Kabechu, the late George and the late Nieri. A grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika Road, at 7.30am, on Tuesday, 6th April, 2021, for Funeral Mass at Ngandu Catholic Church at 11.00am; followed by burial at his Kaiyaba Farm at 1.00pm.
