It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of Joseph Muraguri Ngatia of Kiharu Estate. Murang’a Town on the 26th of April 2023 at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital.

Son to the late Ngatia Ikua and the late Hanna Nyambura Machera and brother to the late Samuel Wachira Ngatia of Subukia, the late Gabriel Muriuki Ngatia of Kanguo O’ljorok, Stephen Wachira Ngatia of Mutara Laikipia, Charles Kamau Ngatia (Boston) of Kiamariga Mathira, Margaret Nyambura Ngatia of Murang’a Mtc, Charles Mathai Ngatia of Mihango Nairobi.

He was cousin to Mariga of Kiamariga.

Husband to Pauline Waithera of Seattle USA and father to Mary Wanjiku of Ruaka Nairobi, Francis Maina of Seattle USA, Paul Kinuthia of Puresafe Security Murang’a, Samuel Wachira of Seattle USA, Peter Kamau of Athi River Nairobi and Gabriel Muriuki of Murang’a.

Grandfather to Delcyn, Delaney, Kluivert, Sherlyn, Ty, Aiden, Paul, Taphara, Azriel, Eunice, Natalie, Ken, Zara and Zahir.

The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home at 8.00am on 5th May 2023 for burial at his farm in Kiamariga Mathira, Nyeri County.
