Joseph Murimi Macau

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joseph Murimi Macau which occurred on 25th August, 2022 at Outspan Hospital- Nyeri. Until his death, he was the Treasurer of Wananchi DT Sacco Society Ltd and he was one of the pioneer members of the Sacco when it was started in year 1992.

Beloved husband to Grace Wangu Murimi, beloved father to the late Wambui Murimi, Loise Wanjiru and Benard Kagema, Macau Laban & lucy Namu, Annah Wanjiku and Daniel Mwangi, Richard Kabata and Salome Njeri, Samuel Githinji and Esther Njoki, Michael Kiragu and Ann Njoki and Alice Waguthi Murimi.

Brother to the late Jane Wanjiku Wakubua, the late Symon Kiragu, Lydiah Muthoni, the late Njeri Macau and Erastus Kanyora. He was a father, a grandfather and a great grandfather to many.

Prayers and meetings are going on at Gikororo and at Wananchi DT Sacco society Ltd Othaya.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Funeral home on 9th September, 2022 at 8.30am for a funeral service and burial at his home in Gikororo-Karatina.
