It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mr. Joseph Murimi Mwihia on 16th March 2020 through a tragic road accident.

Son of the late Fredrick Mwihia and the late Tabitha Wandia of Kianyange, Kiangai, Kirinyaga County. Beloved husband of Rachel Wamuyu (rtd KNH). Brother of the late Peter Muchangi, the late Stella Gathigia, David Wahome, Chrispin Wanjohi, Francis Muriithi, Stephen Mathenge, James Karani. Stepbrother of the late Lazarus Ngari. Father of Dr. Fredrick Murimi (KUTRRH), Tabitha Wandia (Wandia Murimi Advocates), James Weston Wanjohi and Maryanne Wambui. Father-in-law of Arch. Margaret Mweru (UON) and Jamleck Mwendia. Grandfather of Rachel, Alice, Tabitha, Theo Murimi among others. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kiangai.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital, Karatina on Tuesday 24th March 2020 at 8:30am for his home in Kiangai where the funeral service and burial will take place.
