Joseph Ndwigah Njeru (Retired Education Officer)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Joseph Ndwiga Njeru (Retired Education Officer) on 7/8/2018 after a short illness.

Son of the late Simon Njeru Ngariama and the late Lydia Runji of Mukangu village. Loving husband of late Mwalimu Monicah Wanjiru Ndwigah. Father of John Mark Njeru (Kiriari Girls Embu) and Faith John, JaneAnne Wawira and Gathiga Mwangi, Rosemary Wambui and Julius Njire, Peter N. Maina and Ann Wanjiru. Brother of Abishag, Rebecca, the late Javan, the late Jonah, Racheal and Njogu Ngariama. Uncle of Njeru Kamani, Mwalimu Ngunju among others. Cousin of Gacigori, Solomon Ireri among others. Grandfather of Roy Muraya, Kamau, Vincent, Ciku, Ray, Yvonne, Roy Ngariama, Marx, Jude and Lionel among others. Great grandfather of Liam.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home from 3.00pm for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Monday 13th August, 2018 at 9.00am for a funeral service at St. Phillips ACK Church, Kathangari and thereafter burial at his rural home in Mukangu village, Embu.
