It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will We announce the death of Joseph Njenga Muitie (Mwalimu Ngachu) formerly of Lussegitti village, Karai Kikuyu Sub-County, Kiambu County which occurred on Sunday 27th December 2020 at his home.

Loving Husband of Hannah Njeri Muitie. Son of the Late Muitie Ngachu and the Late Rahab Njoki Muitie. Son-in-law of Gitau wa Kabiru and Gichiru Gitau.

Father of Martin Waweru Njenga, Cecilia Njoki Hockley (UK), Gitau wa Njenga, Cyrus Kabiru Njenga, Regina Wanjiru Retallack (UK), Grace Nduta Matthew’s (UK) and Henry Ndung’u Njenga (UK). Brother of the late Henry Ndungu Muitie, George Kimani Muitie (Mwalimu), the late Stanley Mwaura Muitie( Wangereni) the late Grace Nduta Ngugi (Nyina wa Gichungu), Pastor Peter Kiambuthi Muitie, Elizabeth Wangari ithuku and Hannah Wambui Mungai.

Grandfather of Anne Njeri,Alvin Njenga, Ivy Gitau wa Njenga, Jordan Retallack, Kimberley Retallack, Megan Retallack among many others.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at his home Joska, Mavoko, Machakos County for Prayers and Burial preparation at 5:00 pm.

The Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday 7th January, 2021 at 8:00am.

Funeral and Burial Service follows thereafter at Lang’ata Cemetery at 11:00AM.

We will not cry because you are gone, we will rejoice because you lived.
