It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Joseph Onyango Wagara Advocate, which occurred on the 13th May 2021.
He was a Senior Partner at Wagara, Koyyoko and Company Advocates. Husband to Nicoline Onyango ofACK St Barnabas Kitengela. Loving Father to Audrey Onyango, John Onyango, Wayne Wagara and Lisa Ajode. Son of the Late Mwalimu Charles Wagara and the Late Rhoda Olawo. Son-in-law of the Late JJ Odhiambo Advocate and Mama Scholastica Rose Ajode of Skajo Airline Handling Agency.
Brother to the late William Ogutu, the Late Judith Choka Odada, Peninah Adhiambo Alum, Pamela Awuor Ouma, the Late Archibald Odhiambo and Walter Wagara. Brother in Law to Orpah Ogutu, Jane Omondi, the Late Lilian Achieng (Sweety), Cleopatra Mukula, the Late Loise Achieng, Peninah, Tina, Sabina, Joan, Maureen, James Migaya, Edwin Osino, Robert Nyaboro, Caleb, Eliakim, Vincent and many others.
Loving Uncle to Justine Ajode, Dennise Akinyi, Leana Saunda, Elly Ogutu, Lilian Ombura, Grace Odada, Ruth Alum, John-Green Odada, Sarah Ogutu, Rhoda Ogutu, Cyril Wagara, Sharon Njuguna, Wendy Walters and many others.
Family and friends will hold a Harambee at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 25th May 2021 from 5PM to 7PM for funeral arrangements.
A memorial service shall be held on the 27th May 2021 at the All Saints Cathedral from Noon.
A procession from Umash Funeral Home to his home in Anjego Village, Migori County will be on the 30th May 2021. Joseph Wagara will be laid to rest at his home in Anjego village, Migori county on the 31st of May 2021.
