It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Josephine Auma Owiti of National Communication Secretariat, which occurred on 07/10/2022 at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.

Daughter to the late Gilbert Owiti & Margaret Ogonji Owiti. Loving mother to Ronald Odongo, Mother-in-law to Khadija Ibrahim. Doting grandmother to Ayra Auma & Sumer.

Loving Sister to Pamela Ngesa, Jane Opondo, Hellen Onyango, Paul Owiti & Alex Owiti. Sister-in-law to Charles Ngesajack Opondo, Francis Onyango, Caroline Mwasiaji & Sandra Owiti.

Niece to Shem Agolla, Paul Agolla, Elphas Nyalienya, the late Washington Asoka, Martha Onyango, Margaret Ogolla, Jason Asoka, Naomi Were, Judith Magundho, among others.

Dear Cousin to Arthur, Petty, Booker, Doris, Gilbert N, Clement, Mercy, Calvin, Bethy, Winnie, Oluoch, Ajwala, Owiti, Caro, Pamela, Phoebe, Joshua, among others.

A memorial Service will be held on 27/10/2022 at Montezuma Funeral Home Chapel, from 2.00pm.

Josephine will be laid to rest in Asembo Bondo, Siaya County on 29/10/2022.
