Joyce Ajema Madegwa

It is with great sadness & humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition of Mrs. Joyce Ajema Madegwa of Lirhanda, Shinyalu Constituency that occurred on 6th March 2021 at Avenue Hospital Kisumu after a short illness.

She was the loving wife of Mr. Japheth Shilisia Madegwa, daughter to the late Pastor Thomas Kivuya Mirembe and the late Pastor Peris Kaleha Kivuya. Daughter in law to the late Pastor Latan Siema Madegwa and Nipha Khasandi Madegwa. Loving mother to Lawrence Anthony Siema, Patricia Mundia, Kennedy Ligavo, Gloria Madegwa- Ambwere and Emmanuel Madegwa. Mother in love to Ken Mundia, Stella Ndoshi, Moses Ambwere and Yvonne Ngarey.

Grandmother to Alpha Ligavo, Baraka Ligavo, Liam Ambwere, Nallah Ajema and Leeroy Ambwere. Sister to Wilson, the Late Phanice Mwaniga, The Late Eliud Madaga, The Late Stanley Endovo, Emmy, Lydia, Beatrice, Carol,Violet, Jacqueline and Eric. Sister in law to Shua, Phoebe, Gladys, Elizabeth, Dorica, Jemimah, Eunice ,Faith. Loving Aunty to many nieces and nephews, adopted mom to many & a loyal friend to many.

There will be a memorial service and fundraiser at Agape Bible Church in Madaraka estate Nairobi on Tuesday 9th March 2021 at 3:00pm.

Funeral & Burial service will be led by Lirhanda Friends Church-Central Yearly Meeting (Quarker) on Saturday 13th March 2021 at her home in Lirhanda, Shinyalu Constituency, Kakamega county.
