It is with great sadness and acceptance of God’s will we announce the death of Mrs. Joyce Wambui Mamo.

Wife of the late Paul Mamo Kihato of Giakanja. Daughter of Wambugu Ndegwa and Julia Mwihaki. Mother of Margaret Munyiri, Simon Kihato, Ann Njeri, James Wambugu, Isaac Gatumia, Jane Ndiritu, Bilha Ndambiri, the late David Ndegwa and Luka Wagicheru. Step-mother of Josephine Wangui, Esther Nyambura, Samuel Kihato, Phillip Gatumia, Ceasar Wagicheru, Elizabeth Wothaya and Wilson Kanyi.

Mother-in-law of Munyiri Munene, Margaret Nyambura, Mary Nyambura, Shelmith Muthoni, Gabriel Ndiritu, Edwin Ndambiri and Martha Muthoni. Sister of David Ndegwa, John Wambugu, Phillis Wangechi and Eunice Waturi, among others. Grandmother of Wanjiku Owango, Arthur Mamo Kihato, Paul Mamo Njeri, Winnie Wambui James, Wambui Isaac, Mamo Luka, Moses Mwai, Ngure Ndambiri, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence, Giakanja at 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on Friday 30th August 2019 for funeral service at Wamagana PCEA Church. Burial thereafter at her home Giakanja, Karundu Location, Tetu Sub-county Nyeri County.
