Joyce Wanjiku Njuguna

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Joyce Wanjiku Njuguna of Riruta Location, Dagoretti South on 26th/12/2018 at Texas Cancer Center Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Samuel Mwangi and the late Fridah Wania of Gathukini Village, Mununga, Kigumo Murang’a County. Wife of the late Patrick Njuguna Francis. Daughter-in-law of the late Francis Waweru Njuguna and Hannah Waceke of Ngando Village Dagorretti. Mother of Samuel Mwangi, Francis Waweru, Richard Kagundu, John Gichiia (KPA), Anne Waceke Sigu (Safaricom) and Florence Wanja (Co-operative Bank). Sister of the late Helen Waiithera, Joram Gichia (Thika), the late Julius Njoroge, Mary Wangari, the late Elijah Kamau, Rachel Njeri, Benson Karanja and Ruth Wamukore. Sister-in-law of the late Gathiori, the late Kagundu, the late Wanjiku, Sister Irimina Nungari, Terry (JM), Waiganjo, the late Salome, Late Maria Ssebuyira (UG), Elizabeth Muthoni, Munsiti (Egerton University), Patrick Njuguna (C) among others. She leaves behind several grandchildren.

Family and friends are gathering daily at Riruta opposite Ndurarua Primary School.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Rd. on 2nd January 2019 at 7.00 am.

Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 am at St John Baptist Catholic Church Riruta and thereafter burial will take place at Lang’ata Cemetery.
