It is with deep sorrow and with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Mrs. Judith Atieno Okello following post surgery complications on August 17th 2020 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Loving wife of Boaz Neri Okello (Boneri) of Kisumu-Nyahera. Daughter of Mama Adelea Okinyo Agengo, Mama Alice Agengo and the late Mzee Shadrack Ageng’o Ondik of Gem-Karariw, Ka-Umara.

Mother of Christine Juma, Edward and Mercy Juma, Charles Juma, Henry and Jesica Ndisi, Khadija Nita Okello (Dame), Leah Okello and the late James Odhiambo. Grandmother of Putniel, Zack, Nathan, Fabbi, Sandy, Nabila and Neil.

Sister of Hellen Awiti, Rosemary Odhiambo, Zablon Omondi, Albert Ogoma, Julius Ageng’o, Sarah OlaIa, the late Jane Oyor, the be Rev. Michael Onyango Jow, the late David Mlama, the late Jennifer Adhiambo, the late Gideon Ouma and the late Fredrick Owuor. Daughter-In-law of the late Agnes Achola. Niece of Onyimbo Ondik, Jacob Oludhe, Gad Achola, the late Mzee Fredrick Owuor Ondik, the late Suji, the late Fanuel Duro, the late Benjamin Jalang’o, the late Edward Sande and the late Mama Doreen Duro.

Cousin of Mercy Duro Osogo, Fredrick Umara Suji, Emma Kwach, Joyce Osumba, the late Christine Okullo, the late Omes Umara, Joab Owuor, Cathy Owuor and Chris Ochieng among others. Sister-in-law of Beatrice Akoth Okoth, Magreat Okello, Grace Auma Opiyo, the late Rosemary Adhiambo, And the late Hezron Achola Ngesa, Mwalimu Stephen Oyor, OJ Owiti, Paul Osogo, the late Amos Olang’o, the late Dan Owino and the late Felix Nyalori.

Burial will take place on Saturday August 29th, 2020 at her home in Kisumu-Nyahera.
