Julius Kariuki Kimani

October 19th, 1958 – October 20th, 2020

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our dear Julius Kariuki Kimani after a short illness on 20th October 2020.

The beloved son of the Late James Kimani Gecau and Eunice Wangui Kimani of Ondiri Farm Kikuyu. Son-in-law to the Late Githaiga Wangai and the Late Monica Mirigo of Muruguru Village, Nyeri. Loving Husband to Phoebe Kariuki formerly of Council of Legal Education. Adored father of the Late Githaiga, the Late Junior, James Kimani & Pauline Wambui, Caroline Wangui Onyutta & Patrick Njuguna Onyutta. Doting Grandfather of Maleek Kimani and Eliana Onyutta. Cherished brother to Grace Wanjiku and Justus Kariuki, Charles Gechau and Virginia Muthoni Gechau, Maj (Rtd) D.M Kimani and Anne Wanjiku Mukuria (UK), the Late Rahab Wambui and Late Dr. Stephen Njoroge, Winnie Njeri and Godfrey Gathuku, Alice Wanjiru and Dr. Stephen Kiniiya, Peter Muchiri, John Mburu and Jane Wanjiru Mburu, Wacheke Kimani, Kenneth Ng’ang’a. Brother-In-Law to Stanley and Rahab and Nyambura Kiama, the Late William Murungu and Elizabeth Murungu, Amb. Samuel Wamathai and Leah Githaiga, Gladys Waithiegeni and Davidson Mwangi, the Late James Mureithi and Mary Wanjiru. Loving uncle and nephew to many.

The Cortege leaves Montenzuma Funeral Home Mbagathi at 7.00am on Wednesday 28th October 2020 to the family home in Ondiri, Kikuyu, Kiambu County for a graveside funeral service and burial. All Government Covid-19 protocols will be observed.
