It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Justice (RTD) Alex George Aluri Etyang on 15th July, 2018.

Loving husband of the late Beatrice Shiundu Etyang (Tete) and Immaculate Kuchio Etyang. Beloved father of Constant Arumor, Dolorita Asongah, Enock Musundi, Farrah Malala, Glenns Ekisa, Vivian Akure, Ronald Odero, Humphrey Ondusye, Ignatius Aluri, Cyril Okwaro, William Okima and Lincent Musundi. Father-in-law of Susan Makau, Anne Mutave Kasimu and Edith Kaki Ngungu. Grandfather of Arnold Polycarp Okello, Alex Eugene Aluri, Amy Mumbua Ekisa, Austin Alex Aluri, Gabriella Shiundu Arumor, Tamara Beata Musundi, Jonathan Arumor, Alex Aluri Ekisa, Afrika Adella Atyang and Eileen Shiundu Ekisa.

Son of the late Thaddeus Ekisa Okoriong’or, the late Juliana Atyang and Agnes Saga of Ong’aroi village, Kotur Location, Teso South, Busia County. Son-in-law of the late Enock Musundi and the late Josephine Malala of Elukongo village, Marachi East location, Butula, Busia County. Brother of Rebecca Nasenya Opakasi, Mary Idiama, (RTD) Inspector Basil Pasiliano Ekisa, Immaculate Papa, Maurice Ekisa, the late Redempta Ekisa, Maxmilla Ekisa, the late Crescent Idungulo, Tiberius Ekisa, Berta Ekisa, Lecticia Asolo, Pascal Ekisa, Rosebella Akure, Bridgit Amoo, Everlyn Nasenya, Leonard Ekisa, Jenipher lshupi, Rtd. Commissioner Cassianus Aluku, Justice (RTD) Matthew Anyara Emukule, Bishop Emeritus Philip Sulumeti, Brigadier Quinto Ekesa, William lkileng, the Odikor’s, the Operemoding’s, the Obara’s amongst others.

Brother-in-law of the late Timothy Makokha, Rosa Ombara, the late Odah Mayabi, the late Aquiline Nashive, the late John Bosco, Simplicious Adongo, May Goren Musundi, Sheila Musundi and the late Quinto, Rebecca Aluku, May Aluku, Mary Omodia Arumor, Janet Ekisa, Rosemary Ekisa, the late Pascalia Arumo, Agnes Arumor, the Ong’weny’s, Okwaro’s, Ongoma’s, Kwena’s, Kuchio’s and Echesa’s.

Uncle of the Opakasis, ldiamas, Arumors, Papais and many others. He was also a nephew, friend and mentor to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family homes in upper Elgon View Estate-Eldoret, Kotur-Teso South and at the Holy Fatly Basilica, Nairobi on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th, Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th July, 2018.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary Eldoret on Thursday, 26th July 2018 for requiem mass at Mother of Apostles Seminary (St John the 23rd) Catholic Church in Elgon View, Eldoret at 10.00a.m, thereafter, proceeds to his home in Ong’aroi Village, Kotur, Teso South.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 28th July, 2018 at Kotur Primary School from 10.00 a.m followed by burial at his home.
