It is with profound sorrow and humble submission to God’s will that the family of Mzee Ashford Bundi and the parliamentary fraternity regrets to announce the passing on of Justin Nthiiri Bundi, the immediate former Clerk of the National Assembly, which occurred at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi on Saturday, 11th May, 2019 while undergoing treatment.

It is with profound sorrow and humble submission to God’s will that the family of Mzee Bundi regrets to announce the passing on of Justin Nthiiri Bundi, the immediate former Clerk of the National Assembly, which occurred at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi on Saturday, 11th May, 2019 while undergoing treatment.

He was son of Ashford Bundi and Susan Ciakathia. Step-son of Jenifer Ciambaka. Justin was a Loving husband of Patricia Njoki. Father of Koome, Susan, Getrude (Gettie), Meisy and Sammy. He was father in law of Anthony Samba and Elizabeth Nyathira. Grandfather of Jaden Munene and Kyle Nthiiri. He was Brother of Mercy Kanyua, the late Grace Kagendo, John Muriithi, Timothy Mutembei, Lucy Wanja and step-brother of Veronica Ciagitari, Purity Kangai and Kitim Gitonga. He was brother-in-law of Mr & Mrs Kariuki of Njoro Mr & Mrs Mwaniki of Embu, and Mr & Mrs Simon of Eldoret. Cousin and Uncle of many.

The Requiem Mass will be held at Don Bosco Catholic Church, Upperhill, Nairobi (adjacent to Elgon Place, Opp. Old World Bank) on Monday, 20th May, 2019 at 2.00pm.

The last meeting and prayers will be held at Tin Tin Restaurant in KICC and his residence at Syokimau (Afya Court) on Monday 20th May , 2019 at 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral home on Wednesday 22nd May, 2019 at 6.30 am. The church service will be held at Chuka Catholic Church at 11.00am.
