We announce the passing on of Karen Omesa Maranga, formerly of Nakuru East Primary School (Nakuru) which occurred on 21st November, 2020.

Beloved daughter of the late Dr. Nelson Ondimu and Bethsheba Ondimu of lbacho. Step-daughter of Mama Esther and the late Rachel Nyakweya. Daughter-in-law of Aristarico Maranga and Jemaima Bonareri. Beloved wife of the late Stanely Omesa Maranga, formerly of Egerton University. Mother of the late Dorine, Griffin, Vivian and Suprian. Grandmother of Dorielle, Karen and Stanely Omosa.

Mother-in-law of Joseph Omosa. Korera of the late Benedict Obae and Lucia Nyaboke, Sister of Margaret, Grace, the late George, Bwari, the late Teresa, Tom, Stephen, Millicent and Mobisa, Zipporah, the late Bob, the late Jessica, Janet (USA), Alex and Jack. Sister-in-law of Joseph, Martha, the late George, Vane, Prof. Ken (USA), Benard, Winnie, Evanciah, Anna, Mangaa, Metrine, Machogu, Janet (USA), Caren, Mayaka, Lydia, Tom, Raphael, Alice, Peter, Everline, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Gekonde, Risper. Niece and Cousin of many. Aunt of many nieces, nephews and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Lanet, Nakuru.

Service will be on Tuesday 1st at Great News Church from 2.00pm. The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Funeral home on Wednesday 2nd December, 2020 at 4:00am for burial at Masimba, Masaba Sub-county, Kisii County.
