Kefa Ombura Miyoma

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mzee Kefa Ombura Miyoma (Nyakwar Oliech) of Angasa village of North Karachuonyo Ward in Karachuonyo Constituency, Homa Bay County. Mzee Ombura died following a cardiac arrest while at his farm in God Jope in Lambwe, on Sunday 10th November 2019.

He was the son of the Late Mzee Jonathan Miyoma and the late Mama Truphena Miyoma. Husband of the Late Mama Salome Juma Ombura. Father of Collins Ombura (UON), Lilly Ombura (ChildFund Ethiopia), Martin Ombura (Inhouse Projects Consultants), Adon Ombura (KU) and ldah Ombura (MoH, Afya Hse). Grandfather of Dr. Rachael, Melissa, Martin Jnr,Amanda,Vanessa, Sekela, Tobias Jnr, and Jonathan. Son-in-law of the late Shem Agak and the late Marcela Agak. Brother of Esther Ojwang; Late Margaret Adhiambo, Mark Miyoma, Joyce Awino, Late Shem Akoko Miyoma, Joash Lenox Miyoma (DC), Martin Odongo Miyoma, the Late Susan Anyango, the Late Reuben Mwaya Miyoma, Rosalia Bondo and the Late Philip Oliech. Father-in-Law of Ronald Onono,Anne Njunguna, Rose Omulo and Dr.Tobias Khoi (Tudor Healthcare).

The cortege will leave Kirindo Funeral home on Thursday, 21st November for a short stopover at his Farm in God Jope, Lambwe before proceeding to Karachuonyo. Burial will take place on Friday 22nd November 2019 at his home in Karachuonyo, Got Oyaro.

Fundraising/Harambee will be held on Sunday 17th November at Nairobi Central SDA Church, Old Sanctuary from 3.00pm.
