Ken Murimi Gakuru
It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Ken Murimi Gakuru, that occurred on 18/05/2021, at Wama Hospital Ongata Rongai. As of the time of demise Ken was working with the County Government of Kirinyaga and also held a position as the National Organizing Secretary to KIMSCA, currently KICOSCA.
A loving husband of Ann Wangui. Father of Kevin Gakuru, Tonny Murori and Philip Githinji. Son of Mzee Taracisio Gakuru and Mama Hannah Ken Murimi Gakuru Gakuru. Brother of Faith Nyawira, David Mbiti, Jennepher Sankale and Peter Maina.
Friends, relatives and family are meeting daily at 1700hrs in Kerugoya Catholic Church and at home.
The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital Mortuary – Kerugoya on 25/05/2021, followed by the requiem mass held at Kerugoya Catholic Church at 1100hrs and finally laid to rest at home in Kerugoya.
You are deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Rest well till we meet again.

Deeply saddened and shocked by Ken passing on. May God the giver of life comfort the family, the wife and Children, his parents Mr and Mrs Gakuru, siblings,Faith,David,Wangui and Peter. RIP Ken.
