Kennedy Misati

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Elder Kennedy Misati which occurred on Sunday 7th March, 2021 after a short illness.

Beloved son to the late Samwel Nyang’au Masini and Zibiah Kemunto Nyang’au of Bochura Village, Township ward, Kitutu Chache South Constituency. Son in law to Nathan Ondiko Kiriago (Southview School Nyamarambe) and Theresa Ondiko (Riotero SDA Sch.). Kennedy was a devout member of Newlife SDA Church 5th Avenue Ngong road. He worked with Kenindia Assurance Company ltd (Nrb).

He married Edwinah Ondiko (GTBank Kenya ltd) and together they were blessed with 3 beautiful children- Jasmine (Riara Primary School), Junior and Emmanuel. Brother to Jones Onsongo, Daniel Obwangi, the late Mayega, Justus Otieno(MOH Vihiga), Damaris Moraa (MOH Bondo) and Vane Kemuma. Nephew to the late Omwando Otieno, James Kerindo, the late Lawrence Mokaya, Mong’ina Otieno, Teresa Otieno, the late Barongo, Jemima, Jane, Benson Onsongo and Rebecca. Semo to Eng. Stephen Nyakondo (NCA Nrb). Brother in law to Regina (NEMA) Dr. Abuga (MOH Kitui) Bernard and Watson. Cousin to the Kerindos, the Moriasis, the Omwandos, the Mokayas, the lsabokes, the Angwenyis and others. Dotting uncle to Lesley, Lucky, Nixon, Pravin, Hazel, Kieran, Chilwell and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Nyayo Embakasi and his rural home in Kisii for burial plans. A major fundraising will be held on Tuesday 16th March, 2021 at Maxwell Adventist – LMS guest house from 5.30PM.

We will hold a memorial service at Newlife SDA Church, Ngong road 5th Avenue on Wednesday 17th March, 2021 from 12.00PM.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home on Thursday 18th March, 2021 at 6.30am for burial on Friday 19th March, 2021 at his rural home in yamataro, Bochura Village, Kitutu Chache South, Kisii County.
