It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Kennedy Mureithi Gathumbi Which occurred on 4th Feb 2019.

Son of the late John Gathumbi and the late Gladwell Njeri. Husband of Leah Gathoni. Father of Judy Wairimu, Nancy Njeri, Henry Gathumbi and Faith Wairimu. Brother of Appolos Gakuhi (National Treasury), Stephen Kanyi, James Githaiga (Safaricom), Joseph Weru, Mercy Wangui and Isaiah Njogu (RingBeam Hardware Ruai). Son-in-law of the late John Gakenge and Edith Wanjiku. Father-in-law of Stephen Wachira and Alex Thuku, Grandfather of Bavon and Javan.

Friends and relatives are meetings daily from 5.00pm at his home Githurai 45 and at his rural home Kiaruhiu Village, Karatina.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 12th Feb 2019 at 7.00am. Burial and funeral services will take place at Kiaruhiu village, Karatina, Nyeri County from 10.00am.
