Kennedy Sabwa Murilla
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Kennedy Sabwa Murtha of KALRO Headquarters that occurred on 15th January 2019 at DusitD2 Hotel Complex.
Son of Mr. Stephen Murilla Otingu and Dr. Grace Adira Murilla of KAG EAST University and formerly Director of Biotechnology Institute, KALRO. Husband of Lynn Wanjiku Murilla. Father of Khory Adira Murilla. Son-in-law of John Mbuthi and Rose Njoroge. Brother of Lynette Murilla Adega and Bryan Adega, Erick Murilla, Angella Murilla MakDwallo and Eric MakDwallo Brother-in-law of Peter Mbuthi and Paul Mbugua. Uncle of many, among them Aurora and Anele Adega, Tumaini Alma Murilla, Nessa Makdwallo and Tyrone Mbuthi. Nephew of Margaret Embalabala, Leonard Otingu, Wycliffe Kivaji, Evanson Lugaye, Geoffrey Otingu, Gibson Otingu, Duncan Sabwa, Nelea Luchiri, Bishop Philip Kitoto (Gen. Superintendent, KAG) and Nicholas Sabwa (USA).
A memorial service will be held at ICC-Nairobi on Thursday 24th January at 9:00am.
The cortege will then leave for the family home in Busweta Village, Sabatia where he will be laid to rest on Saturday 26th January 2019.
