Kenneth Eddy Marangu Muchiri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on of Kenneth E. Marangu Muchiri on 16th March 2019 after a long bravely borne illness.

Son of the late Eliphas Muchiri and the late Harriet Ncece Muchiri. Husband of Jocelyn Kanyua Marangu. Father of Lawrence Mutembei Muchiri, Jean Enis Gatune and Evans Kirimi Marangu. Father-in-law of Kirsten Gakii Mutembei and Grandfather of Carine Keeru and Cartia Karendi.

Brother of Franklin Muchiri, the late Rosalyne Kagendo, Prof Eric Muchiri, Joan Kainyu, Curtis Muchiri and Christine Nyawira. Brother-in-law of Dr. Njage Rwito, the late Justus Njeru, Jessica Muiya, Isaac Nyaga, Japheth Mutegi, Ashford Riungu, Enid Karimi, Anderson Gitonga, Prof Lucy Muchiri, Lilian Muchiri, Dr. Harrison Mugo and Katherine Muchiri.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Lutheran Church – Nairobi and at Gianchuku home – Chogoria from 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Consolata Hospital Hospital Nkubu on Tuesday 26th March, 2019 at 8.30am for a requiem mass at PCEA Kangatunyi Gianchuku Church and thereafter Kenneth Marangu will be laid to rest at his home in Gianchuku village.
