Kimathi Catherine Meme

It is with humble acceptance of God will that we announce the passing on of Catherine Meme Kimathi which occurred on 26th January 2019. She was a teacher at Heidemarie Primary School in Ruaraka Nairobi. She hails from Igandene village, Abogeta Location Meru County.

Wife of Johnpeter Kimathi Mutwiri (Njonjo). Daughter of of Emelda Karwitha Kimathi. Daughter of Felix Meme and Livelata Felix. Daughter-in-law of the late Teresio Mutwiri and Josphine Muthoni Mutwiri. Sister of Jane Gakii, Lawrence Mugambi, Michael Mutuma, Daniel Karani, Pactric Kiogora, Rose Kiende and Susan Kanana. Sister in-law of Major Mugambi, Mbae, Pauline Kinya, Frankline Majau, and Martin Mwenda.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Kenyatta Road Juja Kiambu County, Igandene village, Ngongo Sub-location, Meru County and St. Andrews Church hall, Nairobi on Tuesday and Wednesday from S.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University funeral home on Friday 8th February 2019 at 7.00am and thereafter proceeds to lgadene Catholic parish for Holy Mass. The body will then be taken to her family home for burial at Nkandone village for final burial rite, thereafter at the same  venue.

Catherine you fought a good fight finished the race and kept the faith. 2nd Timothy Chapter 4 vs 7.
