It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Kogo Maria Taprandich Shokwei.

Daughter of the late Kuko Cherop Kamuseny of Kawochi and the late Kogo Talai Kamuseny of Kapchelembech Metkei. Sister of the late Kigen Kamuseny of Chemargach village, the late Shokwei Cheruiyot of Koikogwo and the late Chepsergon of Chemargach. Loving wife of the late Kuko Isaiah Kiplagat Koimur. Co-wife of Kogo Clara Tarkok Lagat Koimur and they were blessed with the following children: Mrs. Linah Sokome Kipkemboi of Chang’ach, Mr. Luka Kipkemboi Koimur, Kopitoi Kaptagat, Mr. Benjamin Kipkurgat Koimur, Kapitoi Kaptagat, Mr. Joshua Kiptaui Koimur, Kapitoi, Kaptagat, the late Mrs. Anne Sokome Chebswony of Mutei, Mrs. Jane Sokome Kangogo of samich, Mrs. Priscillah Sokome Sawe of Singore, Mr. Samson Kimutai Koimur, Kapitoi, Kaptagat and Ms. Magdalene Sokome Koimur of Tuiyoluk. Mother-in-law of Irene Kimoi, Esther Tulo, Sarah Saniego, the late Dorothy Kimoi, the late Mr. Jonathan Kibos, the late Mr. William Cheboswony, Pastor Benjamin Kangogo and Pastor Isaac Sawe. She is blessed with 52 grandchildren and 88 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be held today 03/09/2019 at her home Kabitoi Village, Kaptagat Scheme.
