She hails from Gachie Kihara Village, Kiambu, Kenya. She was mother to Mary Hito Muiruri (Rotherham, UK). Sister to Daniel Mungai ( Mjuu) Gachie and James Mariga (Lee) Coventry, UK. Friends and family are meeting at 23 Lady Oak Road Rotherham S65 3LU.
