It is with humble acceptance and deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Lawrence kariuki Gitati of Kiambaa Village, Kiambu County.

Son of the late Samuel Gitati Waweru and Mary Wanjiru Gitati of Mucenga Village, Githunguri subcounty. Husband to Fraciah Karindi. Father to Harriet Wanjiru, Shanice Nyambura and Lisa Njoki. Brother to John Waweru, Michael Ndung’u and George Pascal Kimani (UK). Son-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. James Mureithi Gicora of U.S.A. Brother-in-law to Mary Anne Ndung’u, Margaret Muceru (UK), Irene Nyambura, Julia Wanjugu, Joshua Gichora, Florence Wanjiru (USA), Faith Gibbs (USA), Joyce Wanjiru (USA) and Zack Mwangi (USA).

Family and friends are meeting daily at Kiambaa Gardens, Kiambaa sub-county and at Mucenga Village Githunguri sub county from 6pm.

The cortege leaves Mukoe funeral home Githunguri on Tuesday 28/01/2020 at 8.00am for a funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Githioro Githunguri Sub-county at 11.00am, thereafter burial will take place at his family farm in Mucenga village.
