Lawrence Mutua Mwongela (Soldier)

With great sadness, we announce the passing on of our beloved Lawrence Mutua Mwongela of DCI (Wundanyi) that occurred on 19th April 2021 after a short illness.

Son of the late Samson Mwongela Kimii and Priscilla Muili Mwongela of Emali. Son-in-law of King’ola and Mary Kasee of Kasuvi village. Loving husband of Jane Ndanu Mutua and dotting father of Nathan Kivutha Mutua (Kabete National Polytechnic), Mary Kasee Mutua (Co-operative University College), Chrispin Mwongela Mutua and Michelle Mutindi Mutua. Brother of the late Dr. Gideon Mwongela, Simon Mukua, Rabecca Mwongela, Beatrice Mutie, Albert Mwongela (CBK), the late Esther Muisyo, Miriam Mulumba (Iviani Pry Sch), Zipporah Mukana (Min. of Livestock – Butere), Josphat Mwongela (Coast Institute ofTechnology), Milcah Makato (KTTC) and Robinson Mulwa.

Brother-In-law of Lydia Ngungi, Florence Mukua, Milcah Musyoki (Mathari Hospital), Veronica Mbithi and Naomi Mulwa, Belita King’ola, Mumbe Maleve, Mutheu Hadija and Juliana Nthemba_ Brother-in-law of Titus Mutie, late Mulumba, the late Francis Muisyo, Geofrey Mukana (Businessman – Sabatia Market), Raymond Muindi, Munyao, Kiio, Nyamasyo, Mutinda, Ndolo, Mutunga and Mwongela. Cousin of Dr. Julius Muia, Prof. Kivutha Kibwana, Onesmas Mutava,Titus Nguti, among others. Nephew of Dr. Simon Maingi, among others. An uncle of Dr. Alfred Mutua, Rachel Mutheu Mwangi (Thika), among others.

The cortege will leave Kibwezi – West Funeral Home for burial at his home in Kalii, Miangeni Village, Makueni County on the 24th April, 2021.
