Lawrence Ndungu Muthami

We announce the promotion to eternal glory of Lawrence Ndungu Muthami on the 24th of May, 2022 at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Lawrence was born in 1953 to the late Teresia Muthoni Wahome, and he was nephew to the late Danson Muthami Mwangi and Eunice Wangari Mwangi. He was the beloved husband to Dr. Josephine Muthoni Muthami (UON). Loving Father to Eng. Cephanie Muthami, Christopher Gitari, Veronica Wanjiru Njane and VIr. Consolata Wangari.

He was loving brother to Lucy Wamahiga, Mary Nyawira Wanjohi and the late Wahome Kimondo. He was Father-in-Law to Pamela Mactolo Muthami, Rayhab Wangari Gitari and John Njane. He was a Grandfather to Ryan, Manuel, Marie, Isabelle, Joe,Abigail and Zelie, and an Uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements daily at their home in Vision Park-Gatong’ora, Ruiru, Kiambu County at 4.00pm to 8.00pm.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Kwihota, Ruiru on Monday, 30th May 2022 at 10.30am.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital-Memorial Funeral Home on the 31st of May 2022 at 6:30am. Thereafter, the funeral service will be held at his farm located at Mirangine, Kwa Wanjiku, Ndundori, Nyandarua County, where he will be laid to rest.
