It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Lawrence Nyaga Waithanje, former Head Teacher of Karau Primary School which occurred on 22nd August, 2019.

Son of the late Joseph Waithanje and Asena Ciuthara. Husband of Nancy Muthanje. Father of Catherine Muraru Primary, Christine KICD, Peter NPS, James RODI, Carol Nrb, Lucy Judiciary, the late Pauline and Grace. Father-in-law of Cyrus Nrb, Job AFS, Purity Nrb, Lydia Nrb and Pascal Daima Sacco. Brother of Virginia, Patrick, Lucy, Anisia, Dominic, John and the late Jane. Grandfather of Doreen, Nancy, Fiona, Innocent, Edward, Linda, Trevor, Clara, Tadyn, Gyan, Mella, Myles, Mylene and the late Aryana.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home in Ngaragatiri Village, Kianjokoma Sub-location, Embu and Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home, Embu on Friday 30th August, 2019 at 9:00am. Thereafter the burial will take place at his home in Ngaragatiri Village, Kianjokoma, Embu County.
