Appreciation

25 June 1926 to 18 July 2020

We, the family of the late Lay Canon (Mwalimu) Evanson Mwangi Waithaka, express our sincere thanks and gratitude to family, friends, colleagues and all well-wishers who rallied around us following our father’s sudden passing on to glory on 18 July 2020. You comforted and strengthened us through your presence, words, communion, wise counsel, fellowship and gifts.

We salute Drs. Twahir and Ngugi, and the medical teams at various hospitals that attended to him for over 30 years. We are indebted to the clergy, Christians and friends who encouraged and visited him through the years and came to bid him farewell. To family and friends, we are humbled by your outpouring of love, and appreciate you. We thank all who contributed, supported or assisted us in any way through the years, and in laying dad to his final resting place. Please accept this general appreciation for standing by us in our moments of weakness and greatest need.
