It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Leah Wanjiku Kinyua after a long illness. She was a resident of Mwiki, Kasarani.

Daughter of the late Michael Kinyua Kiganya and the late Jane Waceke Kinyua of Karura, Kiambaa. Sister of Kahaki, the late Peter Kiganya, Julia, the late Wangui, Anthony Ng’ang’a, Njeri, the late Mungai, the late Wanjira, the late Njenga and Flora Wambui. Mother of Jane Wanjiru Kinyua (CIC, Nairobi) and Njuguna Ngumunu (Sidai Africa), Jacqueline Atieno and Peter Kiganya (USA). Grandmother of Nick Ngumunu, Christine Wangui, Ciku, Kiganya Jnr and David.

The cortege will leave Montezuma MonaLisa Funeral Home, off Mbagathi Road on Wednesday 27th November at 8.30 am.

The funeral service will be held thereafter at Regina Caeli Karen Catholic Church starting at 10.00am followed by interment at Lang’ata Cemetery at 1.00 pm.

Family and friends will meet at St. Paul’s Catholic Chapel, St. Thomas Hall, on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th November, from 5.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Mum we loved you, but the Lord loved you more. Rest in eternal peace.
