Lilian Wangui Maina (Wanjuaini)

It’s with great sorrow we announce the passing on of Lilian Wangui Maina (Wanjuaini) which occurred on 25th June, 2022.

Daughter to the late John Kibanya and Wagithi Kibanya. Sister to the late Nyambura kaburu, Catherine Wamuyu, the late Wanjiru Kariuki, Esther Wambugu, Muthoni Ngumi.

Loving wife to the late Zawerio Maina. Mother to Xavier Nyamu (former SG KNUT) Olivia Ndirangu, Michael Maina (Joani- former Health officer Othaya), EstherKkabiru (KNH), Tarchisius Kariuki (Best Choice Insurance Agency). Mother-in-law to Lydia Nyamu, Bernard Ndirangu, Margaret Mwangi, Suleiman Kabiru and Hannah Kariuki.

Grandmother of Pauline, Grace, Olivia, Janaide, Zawerio, Janet, Robert, Monica, Maina, Lilian, Francis, Simon, John, Michael, Edward, Irene, Gladys,Alex, Jecinta, Frank, Daniel, Mark. She was blessed with many great grandchildren

Meetings are happening at her home at Gathukimundu, Davis Club Mukurweini, Tumaini House Nairobi and Bee Centre Nasra near Mama Lucy Hospital.

The cortege will leave Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on 2nd July 2022 at 8.00am. Funeral service will be at Our lady of Fatma Mukurweini Gachiriro, later she be rested at her farm at Gathukimundu.
