Liwell Kiundu Ngechu

1917 – 2018

It is with deep sorrow and loving acceptance that we announce the passing on of Liwell Kiundu Ngechu. He died peacefully in his home at the age of 101.

He was son to the late Ngechu Kiundu and the late Lcuy Njunji Kiundu. Husband of the late Monicah Wanjiku (Thiitu) and Peris Wairimu (Wamuturi). Father of Samuel Njung’e, Joseph Gathu, Stephen Njuguna, Cecilia Nyokabi, Jane Mugure, the late Fr. Rev. Godfrey Kiratu, the late George Ngige, Francis Njenga, Pauline Wangui and Grace Maiga. His children with his second wife are Christopher Waweru (Njung’e), the late Peter Muturi, the late Lucy Njunji, Stephen Njuguna, Mary Njeri, Reginah Wangui and Nancy Maiga. He is survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great and great great great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Ndarakwa, (Ng’amba), Limuru.

The cortege will leave Kikuyu PCEA Funeral Home on Tuesday 30/10/2018 at 9am and thereafter for a church service and burial from 11.00am at is Ndarakwa home.
