Loise Wakio Wainaina

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Loise Wakio Wainaina who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28th 2023 after a short illness.

She was the wife of the late Moses Wainaina Gaitho (Mukoma), and mother to Rachel Wanjiru Murigu, Elizabeth Wanjuhi Waudo, Peter Gaitho Wainaina and Eva Mithiri Wainaina.

She was the daughter of the late Peter Kung’u Kimeria and Elizabeth Watiri Kung’u. She was.a sister to Esther Ngugi, Margaret Njenga, Ann Wambaa, Jane Kung’u, the late Sarah Githua and the late Joyce Gathecha.

She was the mother in-law to Ernest Murigu, Douglas Waudo and Joy Wanjiru.

Grandmother to Tamiqah, Thalia, Tanisha, Tau and Tyrese.

She was a beloved aunt, friend, neighour and mentor to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Gikuni, Wangige in Kiambu County from 4.00pm.

The burial is scheduled for Thursday, January 4th 2024 in Gikuni.
