Lt. Col. Julius Musyimi Kioko

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lt. Col. Julius Musyimi Kioko on 28th August 2020. Julius served as a career military officer with distinction in the Kenya Defence Forces.

Julius was the beloved son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Kioka Nguyo. A step brother to Justus and the late Raphael, step sisters Bernice, Mutono and the late Katumbi.

Julius was a loving husband to Rev. Ruth Mutio Kioko. Son-in-law to Mr.& Mrs. Simon Mutiso Mbiu. He was an affectionate Father to Lucy Mwikali Kioko, John Kioko, Caroline Ngina Kioko and Rosemary Wavinya Kioko. Father in law to Martin Kanyo, Grand Father to Venessa Nzakwa and Gabriel Kanyo. Great Grand Father to Jedi Anaya Sande.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Tuesday 8th September 2020 for the memorial service and burial to be held in Kisau, Makueni.

Julius fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith. Now in store for him is the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to him on that day.

Col. Julius Kioko (Rtd.) will remain in our hearts forever. May the almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace.
