Lt Col (Rtd) Pius Wanjala Muchimuti

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Lt Col (Rtd) Pius Wanjala Muchimuti which occurred on 29th July 2021 after a short illness.

He was the son to the late Philip Wanjala and Cicilia Namarume of Nasaka village in Bungoma. Loving husband to Late Tafrosa Namalwa. Father to Late Colleta and Late Munialo (KDF), Janet, Lusaria (BATUK), Agness, Susan, Evans (BATUK), Philip (KDF), and Angela (TSC).

Brother to Richard, Batrobers, Getrudes, Grace, Dr Juliana, Lymos (Bgm CC), Mary and others. Uncle to Munialo, Pamela, Elizabeth and many others. Father in law to Col Shiguri (KDF), George (KDF), Beckham (NSSF), Sharif, Emily, Christine and Caro.

He was son-in-law to the late Mukhwana and the late Sofia. He was brother-in-law to Historo and Francis among others. He was Grand Father to over 26 grandchildren including Mark, Brian, Nicole, Samantha, Brigite, Alicia, Michelle and Banice and their siblings. He was Great Grand Father to Ethan and Josphine.

Friends and family are meeting daily from 3.00 p.m at his residence at Nambalayo Village and at Kasarani for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The funeral will take place on Saturday, 7th August 2021 at his residence in Nambalayi Village, Bukembe Location Bungoma County.
