It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Lucia Igoki Njiru.

Daughter of the late Nguru Kioroga and the late Mavuti Nguru. Wife of the late Stanley Njiru Njathigi. Sister of the late Margaret Gikunju, the late Gladys Kamau, the late Doras Jonah, the late Njagi Nguru, Joyce Nieru, Susan Ngari, and the late Bernard Mad. Mother of Beatrice Muthoni & Michael Nyaga; James Ireri & Sicily Muthoni; Silas Njiru & Anna Wambui; Peter Njiru & Jane Muthoni; Jismoda Ngithi & Genard Nyaga; Monica Njoki & Billy Githinji. Grandmother of Nicholas, Lisper, Lina Mutitu, Lisa, Josephine, Lina Mukami, Jackline, Goretti, Felix, Mark, Arthur, Roy, Ron, Leo, Bridgid, Stella, Perpetua,Vincent,Valerian, and Tasha. Great-grandmother to: Jamal, Myles, Richard, Aariana, Adele, Zita, and Sydney.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Munyori village and at the All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5.30pm.

The Cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home in Embu on Thursday October 31, 2019 at 8am for Holy Mass at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Munyori at 10am, followed by burial at her home in Munyori village.
