Lucia Ndunge Vata

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Lucia Ndunge Vata, which occurred on Friday 5th March, 2021, while undergoing treatment at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Beloved wife of Justus Vata Ndolo of Musaalani Village, Miumbuni Sub-location. Adored mother of the late Sir. Charles Mbui, Gregory Makau, Francis Kimeu and Juliana Mutheu. Daughter of the late Wambua Kalui and the late Mrs Loise Muthenyi Wambua of Kathaana village, also in Miumbuni Sub-location. Sister of Nicholas Muia Wambua, Annah Kaveke Musungu, the late Beth Mbai, Pauline Ndulu Maitha, Joseph Mumo Wambua and Francisca VVanza Kiswili. Mother-in-law of Sarah Mbui, Peninah Makau, Benedetta Kimeu and Anthony Muindi. She was a proud grandmother to Rachel, Ken, Oscar, Judy, Mwende, Mwelu, Mutheu, Mwongeli and Nduku and great-grandmother of Joyce.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Machakos, on Saturday 13th March, 2021 at 8.00am, for a funeral service and burial at her family home in Musaalani Village, Miumbuni Sub-location, Machakos County.
