It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Lydia Wanjiru Kanyoro (Nyina wa Wanguo).

Daughter of the late Njuguna and the late Mugure. Wife of the late Joseph Munyoro. Mother of Leah Wangari Consolata Mugure, Patrick Wanguo, Alice Nyawira, Paul Njuguna, the late Wamuyu and Jane Wacuka. Sister of Veronica Wamuyu, the late Anotony Kibiru, the late Gacenga and the late Riambu. Grandmother of Wangui Wanjiru, Munyoro, Lucy, Kanyoro, Munyori Junior Among Others. Great-grandmother of Mugure, John Munyoro among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her Mahiga Village home and at Emmacra Hotel Nairobi, starting from 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata Hospital Mathari Nyeri, Mortuary on Friday 20/12/2019 at 8.00 am for funeral service and burial thereafter to be held at her Home Mahiga Village, Honi Sub-location, Labura Location, Kieni West, Nyeri County.
