It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing to God’s Glory of Mrs. Lydiah Kahuthia Gichere of Beverly, Massachusetts on 19th January, 2023.

Daughter to the late Pithon Kahuthia Kahiu and the late Priscilla Nyakonyu Kahuthia of Othaya.

Wife to Humphrey K. Gichere. Mother to Terry W. Karuoya (Dallas, Texas), the late Ian Karuoya, Ken Karuoya (Beverly, Massachusetts). Grandmother to Zane Beaulieu Karuoya.

Sister to Catherine Wanjugu, Evanson Wambugu, the late Jackson Githaiga, Richard Ndirangu, Joseph Mwangi, Irene Muthoni, the late Sarah Wangui, the late Patrick Maina Kahuthia, the late Josiah Wakahiu.

In-law to Ezekiel Gichere and the late Doras Wambui Gichere of Kiiria Village, Mugoiri Location, Murang’a County. A beloved aunty, cousin, and friend to many and will be dearly missed.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Saturday 4th February 2023, at 7.00am. Thereafter, there will be a burial service at their home in Riandira, Sagana, from 11.00am.
