Major (Rtd) Tofilo Oguti Omunyin

 1958 – 2018

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of Omunyin announce the death of Major (Rtd) Tofilo Oguti Omunyin formally of UN, that occurred on 13th July 2018 after a short illness.

The son of the late Raphael Oguti Omunyin and Fosika Nekesa of Busia County, Nambale Sub County Okatekok Village. Husband of Willimina Adhiambo Oguti. Brother of Rtd Captain Titus Barasa, Ignatious Otwane of Laiser Hill Academy, the late Colletta, the late John Omunyin, Rtd Senior Surgent Lawrence Omunyin Catherine and Kelvin. Father of Middy, Lillian (UK), Fredrick, Lowrine and Peter Okaka. Father-in-law of George Otieno, Mbarouk Msury (U.K) and Samuel Njoroge. Grandfather of Ivy, Turbulance. Atkins, Ben, Willimina and Shawn.

Family and friends are meeting at his rural home and his home in Muimara next to lmara Daima every evening for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan hospital Kisumu at 10:00am on Thursday 26th July followed by burial at his home in Okatekok Village on Saturday 28th July 2018.
