Major (Rtd.) Wilson Toroitich Chesire (OGW)

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Major (Rtd) Wilson Chesire (OGW) which occurred on Sunday 28th January, 2024.

He was a long-serving military officer and community leader.

Husband to Rosaline Chesire.

Son to The Late Alfonse Chesire Kigen and The Late Perisi Shokwei Chesire.

Son-in-law to Kipteigong Kangogo, The Late Grace Kobilo, Eunice Kabon and The Late Susan Saniego.

Father to Pimark Chesire, Peninah Kapkiyai, Moses Kiplagat, Gladys Chesire, Caroline Kiprop and Tony Chesire. Father-in-Law to Esther Kulei, Dr. Moses Kapkiyai, Abigael Ngeno, Alex Orgut, Justus Kiprop and Mercy Mitei.

Brother to William Chesire, The Late John Sitienei, Vincent Chesire, Esther Chesire and Lilian Mugun.

Brother-in-law to The Late Dorcas Kiptum, Pauline Sitienei, Sally and Salina, and The Late Charles Mugun.

Cousin to Kap Tobosei, Kap Kirara, Kap Kebenei, among others.

Burial will be held on Saturday 3rd February, 2024 at his home Flax (Tach-Asis) Village, Marichor Location, Keiyo-South Sub-County, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Meetings are on going at home Flax (Tach-Asis) Village and in Nairobi at AIC Milimani from 5:30pm.
