It’s with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mama Abigael Moige Sindiga after a short illness who went to be with the Lord on 15th March 2023.

Daughter to the late the Mayaka Mamumi and Paulina Kerubo.

Wife to the late Josphat Sindiga Mang’abo. Mother to: James Momanyi, the late Kodheck Ariri, the late Dina Kemunto, Isabella Nyangate, Miriam Kerubo, Benson Mariga Nyarwati, Monica Nyaboke, Eric Obed Mokua, Damacline Bosibori, Ruth Nyatichi, Emily Nyakara, David Ogega, Esther, Lt. Elijah, Lt. Isaac, Justus Momanyi, Nyarwati, Obweri, Obiri, Lydiah, Nelson, Martha, Norah, Maurine, Nyamoita, Edwin, Walter, Moraa among others.

Co-wife to Birintina Obonyo, Prisca Kemunto and Agnes.

Mama Moige was the loving grandmother to Simon Peter Sindiga, Hellen Kwamboka, Abigael Moige, Mitchel Moige, Dancarlos Sindiga, Elsie Nyamisa, Ben Richard, Annete Moige, Edinah Kerebi, Emma Moige, Kodheck, Ongata, Maurice Mang’abo, Elvis Nyandieka, Kodheck, Elizabeth Kwamboka, Priscilla, Kodheck, Oendo, Angel Moige, Kingsley Ratemo, Marube (USA) and Yvonne Moige.

Sister to Lawrence Ariri, William Onsongo, Rael Moraa, Thomas Ogutu, Lt. Miroro, Charles Mayaka, Nyabwengi David, Tabitha Gesare, Lt Nyabika and Hezron Kombo among others.

Daughter-In-Law to the late Maurice Mang’abo and Mama Kemunto Nyangira, Kerubo, Nyarangi and Moraa Mang’abo.

Mother-In-Law to Florence Omundi-Momanyi, Effie Kwamboka, Doris Orenge, Nyakundi Omani, Carolyne Kemunto, Daphine, Douglas Ratemo, Onchagwa, Nyasani and Gideon. Korera to Francis and Martha Omundi, Daniel and Josphine Rasugu, Charles and Mary Orenge, Ondara and Rael, Patrick And Beatrice Ratemo, Nyakundi and Margaret, Lt. Mekubo, Nyasani among others.

The cortege will leave Kisii Mortuary on 30th March 2023 at noon for an overnight vigil at her residence in Bosingi Village, Bassi Central Ward, Nyamache Sub County, Kisii County. Requiem mass and burial will be held on Friday March, 2023 at her Sindiga Farm, Mwanyagechache Village from 9:00am.
