Appreciation

It is with humility, that we, the family of Nicholas Okoth Kawanamanda do convey our gratitude to the relatives, friends and colleagues who stood with us following the demise of our beloved mum Alice Okoth. The prayers said, the words of comfort shared, your physical presence and your generous financial support went a long way in helping us cope with the loss.

Special thanks to Father Antony Futa of St. Michael’s Catholic Church Sigomere for leading us in celebrating the mass and giving Mama a befitting send off. We thank Don Bosco catholic Church – Upper Hill, Nairobi and Father Antony Njenga for the requiem mass. We also thank ACK St. Francis Church Karen, St. Francis of Asissi Catholic Church, Nyali-Mombasa and the St. Agatha Christian community for visitations and prayers.

Special thanks to friends and colleagues of Rose, Lilian, Betty, Caro, Dorothy, Ken, Charles and to our in laws: the families of Mulumbi, Barasa, Murumba, Orwa and Ojil. We appreciate the funeral planning committees both in Nairobi and Ninga for the excellent planning and execution of duties. We thank the Kawanamanda family and the entire Kager clan. The Ajigo, Agik and Alem families from Gem, Akala, we appreciate you. Ndere Youth Polytechnic and Ndere Workers’ Women Group, we are very grateful.
