It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Annah Agola Opiyo, former chairperson Kanu-Maendeleo ya Wanawake, Siaya District and Nyanza Province Representative.

Wife of Jaduong’ Japuoni John David Opiyo Oluoko of Masumbi Sub Location, South East Alego location of Siaya County. Daughter of the late Harun Adoche and Rosa Milal Adoche of Mur Ng’iya. Daughter-in-law of late Nahum Oluoko and Dina Oluoko. Mother of Jane Ogare (Uyoma Nyabera), Musa Oduor (formerly Masumbi Pri Sch.), the late Helida Omondi (Bar Agulu), Peter Onyango, the late Elizabeth Chiaji and Philip Opiyo (Kisumu Boys High Sch.) & Chairman (Mwalimu Lakers Plots Association, Kisumu) and the late Dina Okanda. Sister of the late Zablon Odhiambo, the late Mariam Nyanguka, late Bethseba Amuga, late Timotheo Odindo, late Truphosa Ogendo, James Adoche and Nashon Adoche. Sister-in-law of the late Chief Apostle Okello Odima Oluoko and Mother Amondi Okello (APEC Yo Maier Church).

Mother-in-law of Judith Oduor, Grace Onyango, Lillian Otieno, the late John Owade, the late Aggrey Omondi, Moses Rangili and Aloice Okanda (Principal Humwend Sec. Sch.). Grandmother of Anne Ogare, David Odhiambo (National Cohesion and Integration Commision), Shem Odhiambo (Transnet International), James Otieno (Saniam Insurance), Rose Oduor (Senator Obama Sec. Sch.), Dina Oduor, Jane Oduor, Charles Oduor, Anne Onyango, William Onyango, Zadock Oketch, Elly Rangili, Daudi Rangili, David Otieno, Michael Omolo Otieno, Mariam Nyanguka and George Okanda among others. The cortege leaves Star Mortuary, Kisumu on Friday 5th July, 2019 at 10:00am followed by a memorial service same day at Nduru ACK Church, Masumbi.

Burial will take place on Saturday 6th July, 2019 from 9:00am at Jaduong Japuoni John David Opiyo Oluoko’s home in Masumbi village.
