Mama Damaris Were Obudi (Nyomollo)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and untimely death of Mama Damaris Were Obudi (Nyomollo) which occurred on 27th October 2017.

Loving wife of Benjamin Obudi Oburu (Ex-Warrant Officer II Kenya Army). Beloved daughter of the late Stephen Omollo Oluoch and Grace Ngode Omollo. Co-wife of Lavender Obudi and Margaret Odumbe. Daughter-in-law of the late Zablon Oburu, the late Margaret Pete, Susana and Silibia Oburu. Loving mother of Bernard (Beno) Lilly, Ochieng, Seth, Zablon (Zabu), Robert (Ouko) and Margaret (Mami). Mother-in-law of Peter Nyabola, Susan Ombok, Tabitha Ochieng, Rosemary Omoga, the late Edith, Judith Ouko, Maggie, Vivian and Phylis. Sister of the late Rebecca, the late Elizabeth, the late Ludia, Martha Arum, Risper, Jane Ochich, Grace, Phoebe, Abuto, Nyangi, Joram and Barnaba. Sister-in-law of the late Zephania Odumbe, Dorcas Obuoto, Mary Nyangiro and Rhoda Nyangi. Loving grandmother of Yvette, Linford, Ochi, Eva, Asiyo, Aboy, Winnie, Kerry, Ryan, Randy, Zita, Zendaya, Zanita, Eli and Adrian. Loving aunty of Jane, Hesbon, Sarah. Beatrice, Alice, Mike, Kennedy, Karen and Christine Odumbe, Sylvia Otiato, Ojiem, Melly, Mzee, Arthur Ogweno, Rembo, Bernard Obuoto and Bruce.

The cortege leaves Matata Hospital Oyugis at 2pm on Sunday 12th November 2017. Burial service will be held at Urudi Wasare, Nyakach Sub county, Kisumu county on Monday 13th November 2017.
