Death has occurred of mama Deborah Omune.

Wife of the late Hezron Omune of Kanyada, Kanyabala, Lala School. She was daughter of the late Abisai Konje and Philida Konje of Karungu, Sori, Raguda – Migori County. Mother of Prisca Waganda of Alego, Rose Ongili of Othoro, Benjamin Omune Sub County Admin Homabay County, Daniel Omune of USA the Late Susan and Akinyi Omune of Nairobi. Step mother of Isabel Atinga, Helida Owuonda, Syprose Akaeyo, Dina Okaro, Lynnette Omune George Omune, Boaz Omune of Nairobi among others. Co-wife of the late Sibia, Beldina and Nerea. She was sister in-law of Narkiso Nyambok and Hanington Odhacha.

She was sister of David Konje, Oliver Konje, Hussein Konje, Rose Konje, Esther, Magret Olang, Zablon Olang, the late Enosh Konje, Elisha Konje and the Magandas among others. Daughters in-law are Dawalaus, Beryl, Joyce Omune, Leah, Phoebe, Grace and Tabitha among others. Sons in-law of Tom Ongili, Ongoro, Prof. J. Atinga, Elly Owuonda, William Okello, the late Okaro, the late Nyaoke and Waganda among others. Grand mother of, Hezzy, Dannielle, Ashley, Natalie, Debbie, Wickie, Milan, Wickliffe Omondi, Hebert Omune, Eddie, Owino, Ochieng, Isaac Owuonda, Nelson Owuonda, Bilhah, Vivienne, Maureen, Valarie, Tom Okumu,Annah among others.

Funeral arrangements are being held at her home in Kanyada, Kanyabala, Ruga Village.
